Carol made this cool quilt as the summer-time cover for her bed. Its muted tones of gray and white are so subtle and relaxing. And we used wool batting, which is said to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It's definitely lighter than cotton or polyester - this quilt feels like a feather!
I quilted edge-to-edge swirls and hooks, for some fluidity and movement. I think this will be a great summer quilt for Carol!
