Let me do the rest!
Your beautiful quilt top is almost ready to enjoy. You've done the loving labor of selecting fabrics, cutting, piecing, and pressing. But it's time to quilt, and you're at a standstill. Let me help!Check out my pictorial about how the whole process unfold by clicking here.
Bring it to me
You can get your project to me by mail or by dropping it off in person (by appointment). I live west of High River, AB, near Calgary.Click here to download and print my "Order Form", which will contain all the information I need to know about your quilt. If you forget, don't worry. We can fill one out together when you drop off your project.
Be sure to bring your backing fabric (pieced to the correct size - at least 8" wider and 8" longer than the quilt top). I don't care where the seam is on your backing. Just make sure to press your seams to one side.
If you want me to attach binding for you, bring your prepared-binding (pieced into one long strip and ironed in half length-wise). Binding strip should be 2.25" wide and at least 8" longer than the perimeter of your quilt top. It will come back to you ready to be hand-sewn to the back. If you'd like even more help, I can finish the binding completely - and if this is the case, you'll just need to bring yardage. Email me to discuss how much yardage is needed.
Or if you prefer, I can simply quilt your project, leaving the trimming and binding completely to your loving hands! Unless you request otherwise, I'll trim your quilt to a clean, raw edge. I will return any excess backing fabric to you with your finished quilt.
See the "Services" tab for prices concerning binding.
