Deb and Jane's "Stacked" quilt

This is the second quilt I've gotten to work on for my client, Deborah from BC. She pieced the top for her sister, Jane, who happens to live near me. Deb is a masterful piecer. Both the projects I've quilted for her have been beautifully flat and square and straight.

This pattern was called "Stacked", and looks like delightfully teetering piles of books. I quilted an edge-to-edge pattern of swirls and feathers. When Jane dropped off the quilt, she had already picked out the quilting pattern by looking at my "services and pricing" page. One of my favs!

My quilting is all free-motion, hand-guided on a longarm quilting machine.
