Jenn's Two Owl quilts

These adorable owls were printed on fabric (often called a "panel"). I outlined them with quilting, which helped make them a little bit 3D and made them appear slightly appliqued. I think the pieced came out with a great combo of neatness and whimsy. Just like those owls!

Scroll down for "take two". Jenn gave me two of the same quilt. I wanted them to each have their own personality, so I made them different by quilting them differently.
