Kate Spade-inspired quilt

This quilt was created by a new client of mine, Sarah, and she made it for a young friend who loves Kate Spade - legendary and much-loved designer of classic handbags. I was saddened to hear the news of Kate Spade's death, on the day before this quilt came up through my quilt line-up. She will be missed by many. The cheerful colors of this quilt, along with a simple design, are a lovely tribute to her style.
